Meta- and Google-backed Indian telecom operator Jio Platforms gets regulatory nod for IPO

A number of Tamil Nadu-based companies are preparing to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs). The trend is being led by Erode-based dairy brand Milky Mist and Chennai's Lalithaa Jewellery, which have already gone public this year. Other firms such as Garuda Aerospace and Sathya Agencies are also expected to join the list soon.

SK Hynix's CEO, Kwak Noh-jung, has said that the company is open to more semiconductor investments in the US. The statement comes as he predicts a global memory chip shortage until 2030. NASA has successfully launched its latest space telescope, the $4.3 billion Roman Space Telescope, on its way to its observation point.
